Maggie Lehrman is writer whose first novel for young adults, The Cost of All Things, will be published by Balzer + Bray/HarperCollins. For nine years she was an editor at Abrams Books, where she edited middle grade and young adult novels and graphic novels, as well as a handful of picture books. Before that, she graduated from Harvard College with a BA in English, and she has an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband Kyle.
