Adele Griffin is a two-time National Book Award finalist for Where I Want to Be and Sons of Liberty. Her most recent book is Loud Awake and Lost. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two young children.

Sara McCarry is the editor and publisher of Guillotine, a chapbook series focused on revolutionary nonfiction. Her novel All Our Pretty Songs was one of McNally Jackson's Best YA Titles of 2013. A recipient of a MacDowell Colony fellowship, she was raised in Seattle and now resides in Brooklyn.
