Sadie Dupuis is a poet and a multi-instrumentalist and the author of Mouthguard, her debut collection of poems. She is the guitarist, lead vocalist, and lyricist for the band Speedy Ortiz. In November 2016 she released a solo album, *Slugger, under the name Sad13.
Wendy Xu is most recently the author of Phrasis (Fence, 2017), named one of the 10 Best Poetry Books of 2017 by the New York Times Book Review. The recipient of a Ruth Lilly Fellowship from the Poetry Foundation, her work has appeared (or will appear) in The Best American Poetry, Boston Review, Poetry, Tin House, BOMB, BuzzFeed, and widely elsewhere. Born in Shandong, China, in 1987, she lives in Brooklyn and serves as poetry editor for Hyperallergic. She is Visiting Assistant Professor of Writing in Poetry at The New School.
