We will be presenting this event virtually, using Zoom. RSVP here.

The Pigeon Pages NYC reading series nests monthly online via Zoom with McNally Jackson Books. This month, we are thrilled to host Evette Dionne, Jenny Lee, & Kristen Felicetti, hosted by Jiordan Castle.

We showcase a dynamic and diverse group of writers for a literary evening each month, and are proud to be a platform for emerging writers while also celebrating the successes of local authors. Our readings are always free & open to the public.

ABOUT YOUR AUTHORS

Evette Dionne is a journalist, pop culture critic, and magazine editor. She’s the author of Lifting As We Climb: Black Women’s Battle for the Ballot Box. Presently, Dionne’s the editor-in-chief of Bitch Media, and writes extensively for a number of print and digital publications, including Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Time, the New York Times, the Guardian, SELF, and Harper’s Bazaar.

Jenny Lee is a television writer and producer who has worked on BET’s Boomerang, IFC’s Brockmire, Freeform’s Young & Hungry, and the Disney Channel's number-one-rated kids' show, Shake It Up. Jenny has previously published humor essay collections and middle-grade novels, and Anna K is her debut YA novel. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and 135-pound Newfoundland, Gemma (and yes, it's a toss-up on who's walking who every day).

Kristen Felicetti is the founding editor-in-chief of The Bushwick Review. Her work has appeared in The Creative Independent, Hobart, The Rumpus, and the forthcoming anthology We Are the Baby-Sitters Club. She lives in Brooklyn, where she works in tech by day, and on a YA novel at night.
