For Poetry Month, we're introducing kids to Octopus Poetry. For this variation of concrete poetry, kids can use the form of an octopus as armature to create three-dimensional poems. Young poets will be inspired to shape their thoughts and feelings about starfish, manta rays, clownfish, sharks, and other wild ocean creatures, especially those with three hearts and blue blood. Join us for Octopus Poetry (which we've nicknamed "eight ways to hold a poem together"). Hosted by Yvonne Brooks. No reservations required. Free.
