This Tuesday, to inaugurate Poetry Month, we're introducing kids to Octopus Poetry. As a variation of concrete poetry, kids can use the form of an octopus as an armature to express their feelings and thoughts about ocean waves, sea anemones, starfish, whales, sharks, clownfish, and assorted marine creatures, especially those with three hearts and blue blood. Join us for Octopus Poetry (which we've nicknamed "eight ways to hold a poem together"). Hosted by Yvonne Brooks. No reservations required. Free.
