Join Lucy Bellwood (Professional Adventure Cartoonist) and Marisa Siegel (Editor-in-Chief of The Rumpus) for an in-depth discussion of Imposter Syndrome, self doubt, and the creative process. Based around Bellwood's new book, 100 Demon Dialogues, this event aims to destigmatize mental health conversations and broaden camaraderie among writers, artists, academics, and human beings of all stripes. 100 Demon Dialogues is a relatable portrait of what it means to coexist with the hardest parts of ourselves. Drawn over the course of 100 consecutive days, the book contains a series of conversations between Bellwood and her obnoxious, oddly charming Inner Critic. Readers pledged over $50,000 to bring the book to press in 2017, and now Bellwood is traveling the country to discuss subjects like financial sustainability, DIY publishing, and the ubiquity of creative block.
