We’re thrilled to be launching Nadja Spiegelman's I'm Supposed to Protect You from All This, a memoir that is also a biography of Spiegelman’s mother, Françoise Mouly, and her enigmatic Parisian grandmother. Nadja Spiegelman has written three graphic novels for children, including Lost in NYC: A Subway Adventure. Heidi Julavits says, “Spiegelman's intimate portrait of female identity and idolatry is intelligent, forthright and heartbreaking. Her sentences will haunt me forever.” She will be joined by Michele Filgate, a contributing editor at Literary Hub whose writing has appeared in The Los Angeles Times, The Paris Review Daily, Tin House,The Rumpus, Salon, Interview Magazine, Buzzfeed and other publications. Most eminently, she is a former events coordinator at McNally Jackson.
