The sardonic genius visits McNally Jackson for an evening of irreverent musings, laugh-out-loud fictional monologues, and tales of taxidermy. Sedaris reads selections from his recent essay collection, Let's Explore Diabetes With Owls--the title of which gets its name from one account of Sedaris' forays into a world of dead kittens and preserved Pygmies when looking to buy a stuffed owl as a romantic gift. Nothing like hearing Sedaris read, either. This event is free. There are no tickets and you don't need to buy a book to attend. Standing room is first-come, first-served. Get here quite early and expect a crowd.
