This month's edition of Books & Bottles—the event that pairs wine with authors books for lovers of both—features writer, advice columnist, and now memoirist Erin Khar talking about her new book, Strung Out: One Last Hit and Other Lies that Nearly Killed Me. As always, wine to match the book will be served as Erin reads from the memoir and a discussion and Q&A will follow, moderated by host Mickie Meinhardt.
Books & Bottles is a monthly series with The Buzzed Word and Guernica in which pre-selected books are paired with wines for a discussion on both. Book club attendees can purchase the featured book at McNally Jackson Williamsburg for 10% discount. All the wine offered will be available for purchase at local wine shop, Vine Wine. Free; must be 21+.
