A fun take on his book Sapiens, Harari’s first graphic volume tells the origins of mankind using illustrated examples of his interviews with other experts. Whether flying across the world, going back in time, or simply hanging out with his niece, the book tells the story of how humankind came about and how we differentiated ourselves first from apes and then we, as sapiens, from other humans in the genus “homo.” Even if you’ve read his book by the same name, this is a good refresher, told in a completely different way.
