Buying Online

SHIPPING: Shopping online, you can opt for in-store pick-up, which is free; your order will be waiting under your name behind the register. We will mail out books from our shelves immediately via FedEx ground, which typically arrive in 1-2 days. Books shipping from warehouses may take two to four days to arrive. If you need something urgently and would like to take advantage of our local, same-day delivery, best to call: (212) 274-1160.

E-BOOKS: E-books are available two different ways: using Google eBooks, which lets you read on many e-readers, iPhones, iPads, Android phones, and any computer. Other eBooks lets you search for e-books compatible with a number of readers: Sony (use Adobe Digital Editions), Palm (for your Blackberry, iPod & iPhone), and Microsoft Reader. We do not sell books for Kindles.

Gift Certificates & Totes

We'll mail gift certificates anywhere in the States free of charge, though the must be redeemed in person. They're available in a number of denominations:

We Deliver

IN MANHATTAN: We hand deliver for free in lower Manhattan: north of Canal, south of 8th Street, east of Hudson Street, and west of Avenue B. Outside this range, we deliver same-day to most anywhere in Manhattan for $7.75.

EVERYWHERE ELSE: We ship anywhere in the States using FedEx Ground.
