Soaring in the Garden

The Saturday, join us in ELIZABETH STREET GARDEN from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for Soaring in the Garden: Gliders, Parachutes, and Rocket Cards for Father's Day (or for Grandfathers, Uncles, Favorite People, etc.). If you haven't visited this paradise yet, you'll be transported by the stunning flower garden, magnificent shade trees, and a pantheon of incredible statues. We'll have art supplies, chairs, tables, plus plenty of space to try out our soaring inventions. ELIZABETH STREET GARDEN is on Elizabeth Street, between Prince and Spring. If you're coming from McNally Jackson (at 52 Prince), you turn right to walk east on Prince for 2 short blocks (past Mulberry, then Mott), turning right onto Elizabeth Street and you'll see the garden on your right. Hosted by McNally Jackson and Yvonne Brooks. All ages welcome. Free. (And ask us how you can help fight the destruction of this rare space.) IF IT'S RAINING, WE'LL MEET AT THE BOOKSTORE!
