Con la intención de establecer un nuevo record en América, El Grupo Editorial Planeta se ha fijado la meta de vender 65,000 copias de un libro en durante un solo día en EE.UU.
Con el lanzamiento de NADA QUE PERDER, Editorial Planeta pretende hacer historia en el mundo editorial de EE.UU. replicando los eventos similares realizados en otras ciudades de Latinoamérica. Estos eventos de un solo día, han sido celebrados en la librería El Ateneo de Buenos Aires donde se vendieron 52,000 ejemplares; en la librería Nacional de Bogotá con 16,000 libros vendidos; 21,000 en la ciudad de Caracas y 35,000 en la Librería Gandhi de Ciudad México.  En cada una de estas ciudades, miles de personas acudieron para obtener una o varias copias del afamado libro. “Estos fenómenos de venta no se habían visto antes en América, pero con el lanzamiento en New York de NADA QUE PERDER,  vamos a batir el record de ventas de un libro en un día en EE.UU y en América hasta la fecha en una sola librería”—declara Eugenio Roca, director de ventas para Planeta.
Para el espectacular evento Planeta ha contado con el apoyo incondicional de la importante y emblemática  librería McNally Jackson Books en Manhattan donde se esperan a miles de personas.


El libro estará a la venta por $20.00 (tax incluido). Para los que no puedan asistir, el libro va a estar a la venta a través de la página web www.mcnallyjackson.com a partir del día del lanzamiento.

El texto fue escrito junto con Douglas Tavolaro, escritor, periodista y Vicepresidente de Periodismo de TV Record de Brasil, quien estará en la firma autografiando los ejemplares junto a los Obispos Romualdo Panceiro y Wilson Santos.
En el libro, Macedo narra cómo empezó su increíble travesía que lo llevó a convertirse en propietario de la segunda emisora de televisión más grande de  Brasil y en uno de los más grandes líderes religiosos vivos de la actualidad.
