Brandon Lee, the adopted son of a photojournalist, has had dreams of another planet throughout his life. He's also felt an inexplicable urge to travel to a nearby mountain, but has managed to resist it. All this changes when his mother is kidnapped, along with a group of bums she is photographing. As Brandon tracks the kidnappers up the mountain, he befriends a group of rag-tag comrades, and together they confront the mysterious scientist, Dr. Daugherty, and try to uncover the people behind his experiments, the shadowy government known only as AlcraZar.
